Our Mission

Spelman Medical Foundation is committed to support, assist, and improve the total health care of the individual, family and community. We fulfill our mission by providing wellness programs and health care grants to the community and to Saint Luke's North Hospital.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Foundation seeks to provide and fund innovative health care programs to our community, thus improving the quality of life for those in Kansas City.

We remain enduringly grateful to all of our donors and supporters who believe as Dr. Arch E. Spelman did that “our greatest reward for giving unselfishly will be our own happiness at having had a part in the improvement of mankind”.
