Text Box: The funds raised by the students, teachers and parents are used by Spelman Medical Foundation to pay for free mammography screenings for indigent and underinsured women in the Kansas City Northland.  This mobile mammography program is offered through the Center for Women’s Care at Saint Luke’s Northland Hospital with major funding by the Susan G. Koman Foundation and support from the Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute.
